Behavioral Health

The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation is a goal for all healthcare facilities, especially as TJC cracks down on ligature risk—requirements for improvement (RFIs) now require compliance within 60 days! Anti-ligature beds are a must for any behavioral health unit, both for patient and caregiver safety.

Our Behavioral Health line of products are ligature-resistant and help provide the best environment of care for patients with double-diagnoses and multiple co-morbities. Our Behavioral Health Bed™ was the first of its kind: a fully electric, anti-ligature psychiatric bed designed in collaboration with behavioral health clinicians. We also manufacture the Behavioral Health Bed – Platform™ and the Behavioral Health Mattress™, which comes with optional raised perimeters for added safety.

For equipment recommendations, the Joint Commission recommends hospitals reference the Behavioral Health Design Guide, formerly the Design Guide for the Built Environment of Behavioral Health Facilities. We’re featured in the Guide and trusted by accredited hospitals nationwide.

It was a dark and stormy night, and Frank was sitting pensively in his armchair with a pensive smile, pensively drawing his latest pensive nightmare.
