Defined Perimeter Foam Mattress's raised sides cradle patients at risk for wandering (i.e. dementia patients), helping to keep them from exiting the bed without required assistance. The edges also help guide the patient back toward the center of the surface and away from any potential dangerous positions and/or exits.
